Served between 7am and 9.30am. If you would like it earlier, or would like a packed breakfast, please make arrangements with Sue or Deon the night before.

Please consider other guests when coming and going or swimming and try not to make too much noise.

Windows and Doors

At no time leave windows and outside doors open. All sorts of creatures big and small will make their way indoors.

Honesty Bars

There is an honesty bar in each room as well as in the main house, which you are welcome to make use of.

There are no TV’s in the room which is intentional as we believe in taking a break from the world of TV. However if there is something specific on TV that you would like to watch, please feel free to ask. There is full DSTV available in the lounge.

Airconditioners and lights

If you leave your room, please make sure the airconditioner and most lights are turned off.

You are welcome to swim any time and swimming towels are provided.

You are welcome to sit on the veranda. The minibar near the kitchen is also an honesty bar so please keep a note of what you consume.

Please do not attempt to feed or chase the animals. The warthogs in particular appear very tame, however never forget that they are wild animals and might hurt you if you get in their way.

Walking in the estate is very safe and highly recommended, but not at night time. In the front garden and through the gate, you will find a path. If you follow it you are immediately in the green belt and you will reach the cycle track.

The following restaurants are highly recommended: The Hat and Creek, Sleepers, Fig and Bean, The Maroela Bar, Kalimambo and Khaya Ndlovu. Further afield are Three Bridges (breakfast & lunch only), The Thirsty Giraffe, Cooked (breakfast & lunch only), Cotton Club Café (breakfast & lunch only).

Please Note
